The MAXXRAXX cycle carrier system is a durable and very flexible product. Many of our customers have enjoyed more than 10 years of use from their rack. It's easy to adapt your bike rack to almost any change in circumstances as all the component parts are interchangeable. We also have a full range of spares available if required.
UPRIGHTS
If you change either to (or from) a vehicle with a rear mounted spare wheel you will need a different upright or "S" - tube. In certain circumstances you may also need to replace the FOOT of your rack. We also provide up-grade kits to cover specific situations.

FEET
You can buy an additional foot for your cycle rack so that it can be used on a second vehicle. In certain circumstances you may also need to change the upright or "S" - tube if one vehicle has a rear mounted spare wheel. We can supply different feet for use with non-standard location of your electric socket. Finally, if you change from a 2-bolt flange ball to a SwanNeck tow bar there is an up-grade kit available. The price includes the fitting charge.

TOP BEAMS, CRADLES, CARRYING MORE BIKES
As the family grows you can adapt your MAXXRAXX cycle rack to carry more bikes. We have different top beams and extra cycle cradles that allow you to carry more bikes on your cycle rack.
The MAXXRAXX is extremely robust. Most vehicles can carry 1 to 4 bikes easily. On certain very strong vehicles such as some 4x4s, you may be able to carry upto 5 bikes. Whenever you are carrying more than 2 bikes you must use 2 Auxiliary straps.
You should not exceed the recommended nose weight rating of your vehicle. This could limit the number of bikes you are able to carry on your particular vehicle, especially if you will be towing at the same time.
